Minor Midget Showcase & Midget All-Star Game
Submitted By nschoonderbeek on Wednesday, December 19, 2018
In early December, the minor midget team participated in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association Minor Midget AAA Showcase at the Aurora Community Centre. The showcase offered an opportunity to play two regular season league games in the Eastern AAA Minor Midget League, while providing OHL, junior, and university scouts a chance to see all of the teams in action. The event also featured information seminars for players and families to explain the pathways to junior hockey and university life. Congratulations to Jordan Shaw and Nathan Ford, who received player of the game awards (as chosen by attending scouts).

The OMHA Eastern AAA Midget All-Star Game was held during the same weekend. The Clarington Toros midget team was prominent in the game, with seven of our players representing the ETA team including forwards Matthew McCullough, Connor Davies, Zachary Smith, Sebastien Geraci, and defensemen Julien Jacob, Tyler Deline. Julien Jacob and Matt McCullough provided assists during the game.
