Fees
The fee for each skate is $20 (cash only to be paid at the arena). There is a fee of $10 for every player, whether playing or not, for all home exhibition games to cover the cost of the referees and timekeepers.

Registration
All players attending tryouts, including those who have already signed, are required to register with their home centre AND the Clarington Zone Hockey Association (CZHA). It is important that all players complete both steps in the registration process.
  • STEP 1: Home Centre Registration:

For players in the Clarington Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) zone, your home centre registration is via Hockey Canada. Click here to register with the CMHA/Hockey Canada. You will receive a confirmation of your registration as an attachment in an email; bring a printed copy of the *attachment* to tryouts. There is a $20 fee for this registration.

Players outside the CMHA (including Orono & Newcastle) should contact their home centre for registration information and a permission to skate form.

  • STEP 2: CZHA Tryout Registration: All players, from ALL centres (including the CMHA, Orono, Newcastle, and all other associations), must complete the CZHA REGISTRATION FORM.

What to Bring
  • Players registered in the Clarington Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) region must bring a copy of their Hockey Canada registration receipt (print the attachment, not the email) to the tryouts.
  • Players from outside of the Clarington Zone must bring their printed permission to skate.
Questions
Questions about the midget team should be directed to the coach, Corby Wright.
