The Spirit of Christmas
Submitted By Nicole Schoonderbeek on Thursday, December 27, 2018
The Clarington Toros AAA '05 Minor Bantam team visited Wynfield Retirement Residence on December 6, 2018.

The 3rd Annual visit to the retirement residence proved to be a great time for the boys, and even more memorable for the residents they met and interacted with. The boys heard a 110-year-old resident sing in multiple languages and then they decorated Christmas cookies. The boys were complimented repeatedly for their manners and just how darn cute they were!

The '05 Minor Bantam Team understands how meaningful this was for some of the residents…and the glow in their eyes has been priceless for these young boys to share with them in the spirit of Christmas!

The boys were very respectful, polite and well behaved; we are proud of how they represented their team and the Clarington Zone Hockey Association!
